Edible gives a morsel card to the nearest enemy. But if two enemies are equally close, who gets the card?
I'm testing it. So far I have found that the card goes to the north rather than to the south, and to the east rather than to the west. I'll edit this post when I find out more. The card Strangely prefers southwest to northwest and southeast.
All other cards that are determined by "nearest" default to party order on ties. I'd guess that's your answer.
