Had this idea and it would be easy content for bluemanchu to put out. Challenges! They give you set cards in an set order and have to reliably react to the enemy and defeat the challenge. The enemy would react predictably and the same way every time and you would have exactly what you need to finish the challenge a certain way. Would be fun little extra content down the line. Used to do card challenges in Yu-Gi-Oh and those were fun little puzzles.
Sounds like fun. And hey, we even know that Blue Manchu has this coded already, what with the demo being deterministic as well. And given our recent interest in analyzing terminology to death . . . . . . you might as well just call these "puzzles." Especially given their determinism, they're more like the dictionary definition of a "puzzle" instead of a "game." That is, a game requires there to be some opponent; but here, the AI shuts down and the possibilities are defined in advance.
I love this idea but i think its important not to putt any kind of reward behind it or people will just look at a guide for it. Don't think I'm excluding my self from people I'm a total reward junkie and would ruin the fun for my self by looking at a guide if i there is a reward and i fail a few tries.
Good Idea, I support this as long as they do it at the end of production. It really isn't needed right now, and would take time off them finishing the core of the game.
