I removed the ticks from these 2 boxes under my settings: Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply... and receive email notifications of replies but am still getting e-mails when there is a new reply to a watched thread. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
That setting only applies to new threads you create/reply to. You need to go into your list of watched threads and change them all to say "no email" or "unwatch".
Ah, just read one of those spam e-mails and there was an option to turn them all off. Case closed I guess
