Was wondering if anyone else was gona post when i wasnt, guess not. *pulls up pants* lets do this. Here you go, for your discussion purposes.
Yay, traits! . . . What, was I supposed to make insightful commentary? Anyway, I just did a quick search for "dual color" or "multicolor," since I thought we had discussed such before. Apparently not, and so the above is indeed the first dual-color card. But it should be pretty easy to come up with multicolor ideas depending on how the color system works: the above is attack and assist, while elsewhere there could be attack and move, et cetera.
Yea i dont see many dual colored cards making it into the game, but enough to feel satisfying just like in MtG trading card game
We did have the Bash card preview, which Jon described as a "two tone" card. But in a way, it's only a variation on red. Bash has two ways to deal damage, not two effects from different categories. I wonder if Novice Toughness and Trained Battledancing are Talents? I'm thinking that "talent" could be the insider name for what we've been casually calling "skills."
Good thinking but talents and skills are two entirely different beasts. I'll reveal all in the next diary. Skills have been around for a while but talents are something we just added recently.
Darn it! Either "talents" is another word for something with a practically synonymous label, or it's a completely new unheard-of feature. And I wasted my guess picking the wrong one. A recent addition, you say? A diary about three weeks ago said a new feature for deck building is coming up. Coincidence?
Skills are something you could learn and improve. Talents are innate abilities. So they have to be different. IMHO.
If we keep away from talent tree's i would be very grateful. I like selectable talents instead of "guided" linear talents.
I like talents tree's. Better for me to "guide" on a path instead of let free choices of talents. You don't have to worry about a "talent hotchpotch". A Barbarian with "Quick Spell", a Mage with "Flurry of Blows"... IMHO of course.
