The original idea was to have 2 2v2 teams of 1 humanoid and 1 tokemon battleing, but could not put the spawns to work, so had to change for 5 tokemons,where its random,and 1 of each team is boxed in. so now its 2 2v2 battles where the figthers are "separated" so now u can do 4 1v1 battles or just try gang 2v1 on a tokemon each team have diferent monsters and i tryed to balance it, but any feedback is welcome ofc edited: had to take out the fiends because they where worth 2 vp :\ changed for wisps
i found something neat..the wisps i added to the map,can teleport..so they can jump from one arena to the other..so if u find urself getting 3v2 don't be surprised. another problem appeared...if they can tp what happens when they boxed in? they can tp to the game and make it 5v4 so should i fix it (ergo separate the boxed in from the main arenas) ? or leave it that way'?some anarchy can be fun another question where i need othr ppl opinion: should i make the teams equal? or try 10 diferent monsters but about the same lv?
You can isolate teleporting creatures with 4-deep impassable terrain, though that would make the map look rather strange. I do prefer asymmetric match-ups, so I would vote for 10 different monsters.
Teleport requires tiles between the end points, so you can just put one tile's worth of empty space between the arenas (and audience):
i was thinking making that,and add the lower doodads and see if it would stop then ty for the tip. now the question;should i? can be prety fun when they do it and it becomes 5v4
Another problem... had to redo all the arena/teams..because sometimes a team could fully win in 1 arena and lose on the other..ending the game at 2vps each side and without the possibility to finish the battle. so the new arenas are conected to each other now(hard terrain,see the img) and the teams been changed a bit. Teams are now: Our team: -Armored Pig -Frost Sprite -Trapling -Ornithopter -Black Oooze Enemy Team: -Spider -Fire Sprite -Acid Imp -Frost Imp -Beech Sapling what you guys think ?
