I will note that you may be forced to run Glinting eye hammers if you can't counter warriors (which is everyone).

  2. Theme of the build is to cause yourself to draw tons of cards, and turn the negatives of using self-damage into a positive. Rotate in more boosted heals, or 1 damage attacks where you can, and rotate cards onto your wizard as needed for more or less firestorming/map control/anti-war tactics.

Enjoy. Be aware the build I posted above isn't static, but changes every game for tweaking it. There's no magical formula, but most people aren't expecting this build right now.

  4. For the self-heal, cantrip, and extra healing overall. You also get an aoe heal you need for FS builds, and an altruism to proc more cards.

Can you keep your enemies away with only 1 wiz? I firstly ran a 1 wiz 2 priest team for my FS build, but then I switched for 2 wiz and 1 priest to be able to have 2 Staff of Winter, and because I also realized that one priest could handle the healing by himself.

What I don't understand is the Advanced Ferocity. In the current meta everyone is running dwarves, so you are basically giving them extra cards. If you can't spend a major token in the racial, why not 2 more Raging Rocks? And if you don't have them, Untrained Stoutness is also a very good option, as you would have 3 more traits and thereby you would gain in consistency. Plus, 2 of those 3 traits are Inmovable, which are very useful, and trip is not so bad. Another possibility is Advanced Toughness.

  6. Those are good points all-around, and I'll say that this build with 1 wiz can work, but requires constant tweaking depending on the teams you end up playing. Advanced ferocity is fine in this build UNLESS you find yourself against dwarven NS warriors (which almost certainly will beat you anyway no matter what when you run FS). The theory is that more cards benefit you more than more cards benefit your opponent, because your deck is designed optimally (in theory) to chain card draws while you spam fs/self heal everyone.

Those are good choices, as is solid rock, the only differences being token cost and necessity.

Thanks for share, Pilgrim Bailey :)

  8. I will say that this isn't the optimal firestorm build I can make, and I would consider it outdated at this point. I can update it though, and I will.
