Illusion Wall blocks all sight from enemies, and thus they cannot cast spells or long ranged attacks through this. However, this just happened in PvP. The positions were somewhat like this in PvP Bridge XXWXW XXWXX XOOOX XXMXX Where W's were my warriors and wizards, Os are an illusion wall played by me, and M is the enemy Wizard. Then she casts Cone of Cold and hits all three of my characters. I confirmed her vision range couldn't go through the Illusion Wall, but even though it is not sightable, it does not count as blocking terrain for the purposes of AoE and conical attacks. Is this intended?
Doesn't the illusionary wall just stop you from targetting people (as they're not visible)? If you're able to get it off in the right direction it would still hit the people behind the wall.
Yes, cones don't require sight to affect. The game distinguishes between line of sight and line of *effect*. Blocking terrain blocks effect but illusory walls only block sight.
