Story: Life is good in Nightmarish Cavern Node 9. Sure, it may be a little bit chaotic, dealing with random assailants, coworkers and a random superior barking orders from the Throne Room, but at least you have it better than those poor guys over at Node 1. Alas, it seems another mob of 'heroes' has made it through, though they have come in greater strength and numbers than usual. You're delighted to see you've been paired up with your favourite coworkers for the task, some Monkeys, Wyverns, Slimes and Trees. (The Caverns of Chaos prides itself on being an equal-opportunity employer.) Together you are known as the Champions of Chaos; nobody has ever managed to get through to the Throne Room under your watch, and you intend to keep it that way! Spoiler: Screenshot Epilogue: You delight in the furious curses of your opponents as they are ejected out of the Caverns. You overhear that one of them will complain to the Cavern's management over 'unfairness' but giggle at the thought there could be anything as orderly as a manager to all this chaos. Your superior rewards you with a chest for your efforts. The loot is random, of course. Everything here is.
Won on first attempt with 10 characters still alive. Far too easy. Don't like controlling so many characters, slows the game down.
