I've just got involved in the Beta and first let me say I love the game. The game mechanics and the way it incorporates the cards are great. I know this is a little premature but I would love to see an expansion that was focused around allowing players to field a 'party' consisting of monsters in the PvP game mode. Allow them to be equipped and 'customised' as you can now with a regular party (albeit with less options) and throw in some interesting mechanics like skills/equipment that offered group tactics effects and so on. Yes it would be expanding the game into the Turn Based Strategy Genre to an extent but where's the harm in that? This is such a good game system with so many possibilities.
