I do not think Maze Of The Mind is supposed to be used against minions, and the current behaviour is somehow strange. When all minions are close to a single Umber Bulk, one Maze Of The Mind is used to control every minion. When one of your minion is out of range, all Maze Of The Minds are discarded, and you can still control the minion that was out of range.
