Hello Card Hunter Developers and Community,

I recently was playing a ranked multiplayer game where I got matched against the Melvin Bot. I drew the "Elven Maneuvers" trait on my wizard, who proceeded to get pummeled by my opponent. Instead of doing what the card text said ("When you take damage from an enemy card, draw a card. Discard that card unless it is a Move card. Repeat until you have drawn a Move card or drawn two cards."), my wizard drew one card and then discarded her oldest card. It cost me my resistant hide + firestorm combo :(

I haven't recreated the bug or noticed it before, so I'm not sure how consistent it is.

I don't actually recall, to be honest. But I don't believe so, seeing as I only drew one more card and it wasn't a move card. According to the card, I should draw 2 cards if the first isn't a "move". I drew a single armor card both times it happened.

Strange. We've never heard of this issue before. Next time it happens to you could you please take screenshots & share your battle log? That'll help us identify what's happening, thanks!

Yup, no worries! Sorry I couldn't have been of more help :X

  6. If you drew only one card from EM, it may have been because there was only 1 card left in your deck. As far as I know, EM doesn't reshuffle the deck from the start if no cards are left.
As for the armor, maybe you got hit by Sundering Strike, made the roll and thus discarded it?

    1. Was that single Armor card you drew something like Thick Hide Armor or Dynamic Armor? Elven Maneuvers draws hybrid Move cards, too. $:^ ]

    2. Just in case, I'll clarify this, too: the card isn't saying, "if it doesn't draw a Move card on the first try, then great, now you draw the next two cards into your hand to play"; it's saying "you get up to two chances to draw a Move card -- and if you didn't draw one, then that's that, you don't get an extra card to play."

    Regards,
    Bob
