Bots are able to cast winds of war on their allies

So as far as i know a you normally can not play that card on your allies since it is an attack card.
But i had just a game where Melvin used it on one of his team mates.

 

You may play any card on an "unusual" target by holding the "control" key when you select it. Thus, you may play Force Bolt on your friends (to move them) or Minor Heal on your enemies (to trigger Blocks).

 

Alternately, if you turn off auto-targeting it lets you do this without holding control.
