Hi, I was playing in Campaign, Mauve Manticore 3, in the very first battle. The was only one dwarf left, one warrior. At the 7th round, I think, he drew a Blind Rage. The round ended, and then it was time for him to receive damage from the card. The thing is, he had two attack cards revealed, one was Staggering Blow, and the other card was All Out Attack. Then he took 6 damage. That means he had only two attack cards in his hand. He was far away from me, and just moved, and after that I moved leaving one block distance from us. But as soon as I ended, he used a Vicious Thrust, and killed the last dog in my party. I don't think this has to do with the hybrid type fo Vicious Thrust, since All Out Attack is hybrid too, unless it's because both were hybrid. To summarize the probelm, Blind Rage did 6 damage, when the computer player had at least 3 attack cards in his hand (there were other unrevelaed cards).
Blind Rage causes damage as a start of round effect which all occur at the beginning of a round before drawing new cards. So Staggering Blow and AoA were the two cards it saved from the previous round, it took damage for them (6 appropriately) and then drew 2 cards. One of those was Vicious Thrust.
Ok, got it. I didn't know/realize the drawing was after the effects of the start of the round, sorry for that. So the maximum damage it can do is 6, huh? At least with the normal maximum of two cards after the discarding. That's a new one too. Thanks for the fast reply, and I love this game!
