Beta server is now down. We're working to get the release build up right now. I want to extend a personal "thank you" to everyone who participated in the Beta (and those of you who signed up but didn't get in at the last minute). This has been a new experience for me, running an online game with Beta testers and it's been amazing how great it is. I'm sure I can speak for everyone on the team when I say that we couldn't have done it without you. I'm talking about your financial support, your help finding and fixing bugs and your feedback. It's been a pleasure working with you all. I hope you continue to enjoy the game after we launch and for many years to come. Now back to deleting your hard won item collections...
It was, it is, and it will be a pleasure to participate in the Beta and play the live game, and be useful (more or less) to improve this amazing game!
Too late! I already sold everything! And spent all the money. And repeated until I was left with nothing but 6 gold. Do you log the store transactions? I bet the last 48 hours were insane.
I was about to log on, thinking "hey, I wanted to try some things out with a new mage.... and maybe two warriors. Gee, maybe I should wait until things go live since they'll all be deleted soon...." Guess I'm going to wait until things go live after all Jon, this is a great game you folks made. I'm going to enjoy this for a long time to come, and I can guarantee I'll enjoy spending both time and cash on it.
Thanks for listening to everyone as well! Also i was saddened that this wasn't featured on Force's new releases video on Youtube, so i went to the forums and suggested it to him, you guys deserve all the help you can get for this amazing game.
Thank you Jon, I have to say that this was the most fun and rewarding beta experience I have ever had.
Thank you to Jon, Jason, Joe, Farbs (This better be your first name), Megadestructo, and anyone on the team I am leaving out. It was extremely fun helping you make this game a reality. Now, all my hard work climbing the ladder has been erased and I will probably never reach that high again. It is a bittersweet moment for me, and now i need to go cry myself into a drunken stupor to try and forget how strong Stumpy Ironbottom, Ranting Jackson, and the Boston Mangler had become.
I'm very glad to have been involved in the beta. I first came here because of indie game people. Alec Holowka let it be known that he was in the trailer and of course I checked it out. Alec Holowka also referenced the work of Farbs, whose material I hadn't actually played before, but hey if the Aquaria co-creator liked this Farbs fellow then maybe it would be good. Then I kinda went bonkers a little when I saw that former Looking Glass and Irrational people were involved. Could it get any better? Oh yeah, the game premise was awesome and every new development update revealed more awesome design ideas. So then I got to play it a LONG time later. Long time. It's made up for the wait. Since then, I've been going a different sort of "bonkers" thanks to all the stuff on the forums--seriously going to have to relax a bit, there. But the game is great and the very act of "sitting around and playing" is satisfying. If it continues to tidy itself, resolve technical and design challenges, and do whatever expansion will fit, I can't see myself getting bored anytime soon. Yeah, I'm glad to help get it to the point it is today. To the future!
In the words of the first review of the game: "Card Hunter is the most enjoyable multiplayer game I’ve ever played......At least during my time in multiplayer, I found the community to be a peach. I played dozens of matches, and I had just one not-so-bad run-in with another competitor — they were only asking that I play faster. Frequently, folk wished me luck at the start of matches. I hope this community spirit doesn’t change once Card Hunter launches." *Applauds*
Thanks to you all guys. The game is, and will be, awesome. Looking forward to start playing it again.

The end of the beta is just the beginning of the game, and hopefully the life of our community and further development of the game. It's been a pleasure - and will continue to be one!
Thanks for the opportunity to test! Sorry I wasn't able to test much in the last month, stupid real life. >< Looking forward to release!
You are gentlemen and scholars and it was a honor and a privilege to be able to help you polish the gem you had already so lovingly crafted.
I want to say what fun it has been to be in the beta. I only got in about a month ago but I really enjoyed. It was great seeing the level of current polish but also helping test out other areas. I can't wait for the live game to start!
