In a MP game, an enemy played Dwarven Battle Cry (dwarves draw one card), and my Dwarven warrior attempted to use a block card to negate the effect. He failed and drew the card, but it seems wonky that he would attempt to block it in the first place. This is a game feature and you should exploit it all you can. The trigger for Blocks has nothing to do with "helpful" or "harmful": it's whether the card was played by an ally or an enemy. After all, if a magical force is coming towards you from the enemy ranks, you can't tell the difference between a beneficial Minor Heal and a lethal (when you have 2 health) Misguided Heal. It may SEEM weird when something like a Sonic ability triggers a Block, but don't forget that this is a game where Skeletons can stop being immune to piercing damage if you remove their Only Bones card. You know. Removing the Skeleton's skeleton.
