I guess this might be as intended as it's a non-targetted attack - but the card doesn't really claim it needs to either. Had an acid jet that got blocked, got the log prompt that the blocked attack got swiped et c but it's not in the blockers hand and there's still acid terrain below him. So he blocked the damage part of the initial card only? Code: BATTLE LOG: Player=Amy,Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Event=PlayAction,Action=Acid Jet,Instigator=Galeldirer Earth-changer,Targets= BATTLE LOG: Player=Amy,Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Event=TriggerSucceed,Trigger=Duck,TriggeringActor=Prof Dwarfatron,AffectedActors=Prof Dwarfatron,TriggerType=Action,TriggerLocation=Hand BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Prof Dwarfatron, health = 25 (pi:1, gi:2, ai:0) blocks Acid Jet BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Group=Prof Dwarfatron,Event=Discard,Card=Duck BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Administer Payne took 3 damage BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (10, 8) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (7, 5) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (7, 6) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (8, 6) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (8, 7) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (9, 7) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=Attaching Acid Jet to (9, 8) BATTLE LOG: Scenario=MP Forest,Room=pengw1n vs Amy,RoomID=2368,Msg=The active player is now pengw1n
What should happen is he blocks the damage only and then gets the card based on what i have seen previously.
I suggest adding rule text to the shield clarifying if you're targetted by an attack - take it on hand. Unless aoe non-terrain cards gets picked up by this? Also possibly different battle log messages depending on if it's really picked up or not - currently it does say the attack got swiped.
