Umm, as far as I can tell this is working correctly and this is how are tied ranks are handled in pretty much any competition... If there are two athletes with an equal top score then both get a gold medal and the next best athlete gets bronze instead of silver. Here those six players have the same rating so they're tied at rank 17 but still 'occupy' ranks 17-22.
Yup, that's usually how it's done in sports events at least. I've always found this odd, but it's apparently a "thing".
They occupy the 17-22 slots. If they didn't your rank would be artificially inflated if you were under them.
ic, understood. Now the question: 4 guys (A, B, C, D) occupying ranks 48, 48, 48, 48 with the same ratings in a top 50 board. So who gets cut off ?
If we had such a board, they should all be shown. Unless we can come up with a tie-breaker (like total wins or something).
I've not captured a screenie for this. Long names in the all time leaderboard are overlapping into player ratings.
