I was thinking, we need something, something great for priests! They have OP frenzy cards, but we don't have versatile frenzy cards! That's what we need! And something came up : Mindless Frenzy Holy Card, Halt, duration 1 Gives +4 dmg for melee attacks(because frenzy buffing magic never seemed to make sense for me) All your attack cards have mandatory!(can't be used without target of course) That would be great to target an ennemy with that! But!(because there's a big flaw in this suggestion)But, will you say, it's obviously OP, being able to force an opponent to destroy himself would be really OP! So, we need a nerf! And what would it be? Something that wasn't added into the suggestion : the range of the spell If it was range 6, just quit and go beg money boi, you just lost your job. But if it was at range 1? Eh! Pretty awesome thing : you need to be at their range to make them attack themselves, or to boost your friend. And that way, it would be a double-edged sword(ok, kill me please).
You do realize friendly fire exists? In other words you give your melee this, then the melee precedes to kill the priest who just 'buffed him'.
Unless you root him or make sure he isn't going to go away. edit : unless it's step moves AHA, that's the great power of this frenzy!
Yeah and we all know people use roots, right? Not really I haven't seen a root yet. So maybe you want to try roots with this well firstly you are paying for the roots and the frenzy 4 which also requires you to get within a space and you get what, best case scenario you get a double sized righteous frenzy. You see the Halt, it means you can't use step moves.
"Every atack card get mandatory and every time this unit play an atack card he must target himself" You throw this buff to the enemy then you run to kill the others while he waste his turns hitting himself lol
Gotta note that among all this crazyness, i do like the idea of an attachement, a curse that makes attacking with your oldest melee mandatory once a target is in reach. Duration 1, detached once fullfilled,
Sounds like an interesting trait to me for sure, but no one wants to have to whack their own guy with a AoA'd Anvil Strike that can't be blocked because of friendly fire.
Casting this kind of frenzy on an enemy would be extremely powerful - like win-the-match powerful. Use "mindless frenzy" on an enemy... ... now that enemy not only attacks their allies, but they waste their cards and moves in doing so. While the enemy is forced to attack, you are free to use push cards to move more of their allies into their range, or to just chase down their weaker characters, or whatever you want.
