I found Bandit 6 times on August. I was able to double-dip every time and most of the runs we're in co-op. The total value of the loot was 8,670 gold.

 

Found at the Sanctum of the Cyber Tyrant while grinding XP for level 24.

I found the Hidden Bandit for the first time ever today (Slub Gut's Sanctum). I totally deserve a victory cigar, luckily there were some Dwarven Panatellas among the gems.

 

Bandit stats for September: Found Bandit 11 times (+83 % from Aug), total loot value 10,120 (+17 % from Aug).

this has probably been asked before, but is the bandit guaranteed to be *somewhere* each server cycle? does the location depend on when you log in? for example, if I log in 3x a day, does the location change 3x? or is it just a random 'trigger' on a random map? if that is the case, is it possible to trigger the bandit more than once a day, on different maps?

 

Haho, Hidden Bandit moves once a day, at the same time as Loot Fairy. It's always in one of the single player adventures or treasure hunts (never in Mauve Manticore or Caverns of Chaos). It stays in the same place for the 25-hour period. The place is different for every player. You can only find it once per 25 hours. If you complete all single player adventures and treasure hunts before it moves again, you will find it.

 

No, it moves like the fairy(once every 25 hours).

It's been ages since I found the Bandit. So where does he show up? In Black Plume Mountain, where I was hoping to get some of those high level items I'm still missing. *sigh* UURR(R)

 

I've found the Hidden Bandit a grand total of twice. Twice. Twice.
Only once in co-op has someone else said they got the Hidden Bandit.
I have personally found and marked the loot fairy on the tracker more often than that. A lot more often. Like *way* more often!

The Hidden Bandit is too well hidden.

 

Curiously, Steam claims more people have found the Bandit than the Fairy (11.3% to 10.8%).

 

This cant be right, can it?

 

Possibly. If they don't know about the tracker each has the same likelihood, and the percentage is close.
