I went with a warrior and all the Auto Block and Cushioning Armor I could scrape together. Neither card contributed a single point of damage prevention during the adventure. I didn't draw either a lot and when I did, all blocks failed or I didn't get hit when Cushioned was on. Massed Reliable Mail and Officer's Harness did the gruntwork.

EDIT: In the second dip the block worked once for ranged before being used up by a melee hit from a pawn. Not complaining at all, though, the play was smooth and as for the results...

Did run it solo, but got minimum drop
