Block triggers on position of enemy, not of Burst

Effing tree put a burst 1 bomb behind me, but I was able to block it because he was in front of me.

 

Could this be *intended*? If you can see someone throwing a bomb in front of you, maybe you can be able to stop it.
Dunno.

 

I could see this as being intentional. The character was facing the shooter, saw something coming his/her way, and prepared to block it. They were not "blind" to the fact an attack was coming.
