Comes Monday (or Tuesday) and the chest opening begins!

From my chests I got 10 Legendaries, 3 of which were EttSC items:
Ewix's Evolving Ensemble
Ripple's Reality Robes
Bronson's Halberd
Due to this opening i have also sold my first legendary item: Unholy Nimbus
I have opened all my yellow chests, now I am gonna have a break.

 

Well when the expansion hit I opened my 857 magnificent chests and 299 epic chests. It took a little over an hour and a half and that was at animation speed 1000 and never stopping to look at drops even legendaries. So I really still don't know what I have. But I have the stats for those who are curious of this sort of thing.

Prior to the expansion going live, my collection was at 99% only needing 7 legendaries to complete it.
When the server came back up that number dropped to 90% with 182 items needed.

In my chests I pulled 148 unique new items: 4 of the 7 that I originally needed and 144 from EttSC. These totaled:
37 common (all of them)
31 uncommon
33 rare (based on my math that's exactly what I expected)
27 epic (expected about 30)
20 legendary (expected about 15)

So I was quite happy with the "new" numbers and am back to 98% complete.

Now to total numbers:
I pulled over 5500 items with about:
3100 commons
880 uncommons
850 rares
650 epics
140 legendaries

And now if I sell all my excess I'll gain about 19k in gold.

In my play so far today (completed the new campaign levels and played in 1 league) I've picked up some more new items (as well as 2 from shops) so as it sits, to complete my set I still need:
1 uncommon
2 rares
1 epic
20 legendaries (with 3 of those from the base set).

Final thoughts, I'm really happy to have so much new stuff, but opening 1000+ chests is no fun!

My collection is not as extensive as some people, and so more than half of those legendaries were new for me. But none of them were from the Citadel. I did get a some of citadel epics though:

The loot was pretty much as I expected. Before opening the chests I did some rough estimates of what I might get. 10 legendaries is exactly what I predicted; but I did predict that one of them would be from ettsc. The number of epics ettsc epics was about right though. So I'm pretty happy with my predictive powers as well as happy with the loot.

 

I had something like 30/20, and still have around 5 of each left. So far, got about 4 legendaries, but didn't think to keep track of it explicitly before reading this thread

 

I dont know, if it was a good idea to not open the chest before the new expansion. I did not open them, because I only need legendaries from the first expansions. But that are especially the tokenless items. Now I got even more high level stuff, but not enough of the tokenless stuff.

Decided to have a break for a bit but I already got SO many good items (40 Epic chests left)

 

I was thinking the same thing! Also Demonic Blade's color might have changed a bit.

Noticed also that Raging Battler has a neat effect (and a new sound effect) at the start of every turn.
Every boost trait (except Crusher, that already had the new sound effect) has a slightly different sound effect when played.
There's ambient sounds when you're choosing your items for the battles. (it used to be totally quiet)

Opened up my 61 Epic Chests and ~250 Magnificent.

Did not keep track of exact stats, took like 2 hours on and off to open and sell excess items.

Nothing super exciting in all the chests.
- 2 Deadly Deadly Staff, had 0.
- Captain Cedric's Helm
- 4th Mordakai's Staff Of Magma (may be nice if Accelerate Time sees play.)
- Mindless Aggression stood out as being particularly worthless.
- A couple of mediocre epics I was missing from the base set
- A few epics/legendaries from the new set, nothing worth the gold token cost IMO.

Made enough gold to buy back most of the treasure I pawned to Scarl over the past few weeks though and buy Wym's Lavastaff from Randi's. Finally! Wanted this card for years.

Overall, I am not very impressed with this set so far. I dislike the flavor and while there are a few mechanics I would like to playtest more (Accelerate Time, that cold laser thing), I give it a meh.

Still bought the set for treasure hunts/club membership before opening chests. It has been so long since I opened prize chests that I forgot I didn't have to have membership to get all the items!

Hopefully the money goes toward building new and better expansions with a theme I like more.
