Can't help but feel sorry for all the servants caught up in the firestorm.

 

Doloire is one of the few reasonable ways to get even one step attack on a tokenless without taking complete garbage for all the other cards. There are some specialized multi-step weapons for 0 tokens, but they generally have abysmal damage on them. I also originally underestimated how awful Blazing Shortsword's Clumsy Chop is. It almost always ends up being the worst thing in hand so I want to use it to check for blocks... but it blows up another card if it finds one. It's more than a little awkward to work around, so I could see how some might prefer Doloire.

On a side note, isn't it a little odd that a shortsword has a bunch of range 2 melee attacks on it?
