Fantastic, thanks for the updates. (I've played a few times on Kong, but time to get more serious about it and add a bit more value to my farming.)
Sooo, does "currently" mean you are working on a way to transfer it the other way? I too found it on Kong but would like to play on the game only site. I've got a really old laptop and even some newer flash games can overheat it so cutting off all the Kong stuff would be nice...but starting over from scratch wouldn't be.
I don't believe there is a plan to do it. I just also don't know that we'll never do it. We're a very small team Sorry for the inconvenience.
Ouch! I'm having trouble on Kongregate with more frequent lockups and being kicked out of full screen mode when changing screens. It also seems slower. I still try to play a few adventures on Kong every day, but soon get fed up and go back to the live server. @Fidget007 - If it's seriously interfering with the game, you might consider creating a new account on game.cardhunter.com before you get too far along. (Provided you haven't paid cash for stuff yet.)
Current state of things on Kong, roughly 11 days after my latest report # of players in Kong chat: ~320 # of listed gameplays: 310k (~115k in the latest 11 days) I was very curious about how the figures would change, once we past xmas/new year's fat holidays. Unsurprisingly, with people going back to school/work/whatever, the number of players being active on the kong chat went down considerably (has been consistently 500+ for about 2 full weeks). As always, keep in mind the number of players in the kong chat is a very rough indicator of the active-userbase on that platform (also because I don't regularly sample it). The number of average gameplays/day went down from ~13.7k to ~10.5k. Again, people has less time to play when you also have to take care of all the boring RL stuff. The time-period for this report (2 Jan - 13 Jan) still includes the final part of the new year holidays, I'm expecting the average gameplays per day to drop down once more, next time I sample it. We shall see. In the player's reception department, the average user rating is still 4.40/5 (I wasn't expecting it to move, tbh). The the number of users who rated CH went up to ~11.5k people (was ~8k ppl, last time I published a report). Meaning, roughly 3k additional people rated the game over the past 10 days or so. While no solid insight can be extrapolated by this information, I still consider this as a very positive trend. The majority of users who rate a game, generally do so right after the firstfew gameplay sessions (as opposed to, say, after having played the game for a couple weeks). This is fairly reliable evidence that a constant flow of new players is hitting CH every single day. CH is basically holding his position as one of the highest rated games on the platform (despite the fact it's not one of the most played games, in absolute terms, available on kong). Card Hunter still holds the title of Top Game of the Month (despite the fact Strikeforce Kitty 2, sequel to a game which is very popular on kong, got released). Card Hunter still holds the titles of Highest Rated Card Game and Highest Rated Card Game Similarly, Card Hunter is still doing very well in other assorted categories, including: Adventure & RPG (2nd place), Turn Based and Strategy See you next time with another report.
Here we go, roughly 14 days after my last report. # of players in Kong chat: ~270 # of listed gameplays: ~409k (~99k in the latest 14 days) As I expected, the number of average gameplays/day went down again, although I didn think it would drop this much. I suspect this might be mainly due to the fact lots of players from the initial wave dropped CH after exhausting the SP content (the game's been up on kong for 40 days already, after all). We will see if the game will be able to sustain ~7k daily gameplays. The number of users who rated CH went up to ~14k, which is to say about 2.5k additional people posted their rating since my previous post. This also seems to suggest the vast majority of those currently playing on kong are regular, returning players at this point. The average user rating also went down from 4.40 to 4.39. Card Hunter still stands as the top rated game in the CCG and Card categories. Due to The Enchanted Cave 2's release, Card Hunter lost a position in the Adventure & RPG category and now holds the 3 place there. Everything else is basically unchanged since last time I checked. See you next time with another report.
