Force Bolt on allies

Hello anyone,

First question here. I think I've seen force bolt used on allies by another player to move their own characters but I can't seem to be able to use it on my own characters.

Is this possible? and if so how?

 

To target your own characters with damaging spells, press ctrl.

 

You can also disable auto-targetting in the options menu.

Disabling auto-target is one of the first things EVERYONE should do.

 

I find myself using CTRL to disable the auto-target far less often than just letting the auto-target do its thing. If there's two slimes and one ally next to me, I don't want to choose targets for my Chop, I just want it to chop stuff.

 

IMO you should be able to use CTRL to re-enable auto targeting if you have it disabled.

 

I played quite a while without Auto Target but i switched it on again because it is a lot faster and more compfortable.
And using the Control key to switch it off becomes a reflex on the right right spells, be it in SP or MP.
