What's the difference between: Item Rarity, Card Rarity and Card Quality?

some days ago I've seen a discussion in th MP Lobby which in the end resulted in "not exactly knowing the difference between 'Item rarity, card rarity and card quality'".​

Now we have this topic ongoing about the "Peasant PvP" - which stated "only common and uncommon cards".​

And to be true: I realized that me myself is not exactly sure where the differences are and sometimes about which rarity/quality we are talking in some situations.​

So... I tried to find some Information about this, but everywhere I searched, I found some pieces of the information scattered.​

But not one central place.​

So there are 2 Options left:​

- either I am completely blind (which is very much possible)​

- or there is no specific place to find the compact Information I was looking for.​

I've searched in the Wiki, on "How to play", in this FAQ and in the Forum in general...​

I could have asked this in one of the treads but thoose are not stickied and I believe there are maybe some others out there with the same question:​

Ok I found the Information I was looking for. (Not so) surprisingly on the official Card Hunter Website itself.​

It is just a bit hidden in the Development Diaries of the blog. ​

Some additional detail for Item Rarity:
Common Items - Only uses Common/Uncommon Cards, up to 33% Uncommon Cards
Uncommon Items - Only uses Common/Uncommon Cards, up to 100% Uncommon Cards
Rare Items - Can use any card rarity, up to 33% rare Cards (1 for 3 slot items, 2 for 6 slot items)
Epic Items - Can use any card rarity, up to 66% rare cards
Legendary Items - Can use any card rarity, up to 100% rare cards[/quote]

4 actually.

1.) How do I open the Console?
Hit F1 once to open the console input field.
Hit F1 twice to open the console history.

2.) Is there a list of Console Commands somewhere?

Or open the list ingame via the Console command "help".
The problem with this list (imo) is that you don't see at one glance which of those commands you can actually use as an user.
It would be nice to have a list "for user only".

This one is not in the list of the Thread (it's too new):

itemcount: count all unique items in your inventory (items on characters excluded!)​

Theese are very often used:

partybbcode: copy your current party into the clipboard​

partyanddecksbbcode: copy your current party and deck into the clipboard​

3.) Is there a list of Chat Commands somewhere?
I believe there are Chat Commands (or "Emotes") for Multiplayer Chat. I don't know, but I would like to. So if there are some and you know some, please share them with us.

/me and /flip are the ones I know of atm. Type '/me loves Card hunter' to see results.

Well, this thread started as half "Frequently Asked Questions" and half "Answers to Frequently Given Feedback" so originally it made more sense here
But yes, currently it would probably fit better in the General Chat. Maybe a mod can move this thread?

 

Question: Why do I have to sell 10 Legendary Items (Not treasure) to buy 1 Legendary Item, and 25(!) Epic items to buy one Epic Item?
Has one of the devs explained this in a post somewhere?

 

I am looking for a forum FAQ. How do I turn my Card Text blue that links to the actual card in a forum post?

Phaselock thanks. Now I am just showing my overall internet ignorance. How do I get that toolbar with the little green ball?

 

If you don't see them normally, click the "More Options..." button under the text entry box.

I made a quick check and it looks like it depends on the browser used - It's visible by default on Firefox but on Android you need to click More Options to see the full toolbar.
