Whenever I attempt to log into Card Hunter, I am notified I have a match that I was disconnected from (I actually closed the browser after my opponent had disconnected, and the timers stopped for both players), and asked if I want to reconnect. Upon answering in the affirmative, the game continuously hangs on a loading screen. If I refresh the page and answer in the negative, I progress to the usual campaign/multi-player screen. However, the notification to finish the disconnected battle persists upon each log in attempt. Please let me know if you would like any further information. Thanks.
I suggest adding your username so the devs can check out your account. There's a new test build up on the test server, so there might already be a fix for this in the works - but extra data never hurts.
My user name is montecristo_4444. I was not original in choosing my name here in the forums. Thank you for the response.
I am no longer seeing this instance arise when logging into the game. If I do, I will be sure to post a message stating as such. Thank you for looking into this problem for me.
I had a disconnection yesterday in the middle of a MP battle and the reconnection worked very well. I was playing an attack card when it happened. After I logged back in, I was asked if I wanted to reconnect to the ongoing battle. I answered yes and soon I was back in the situation where I had left. The Snoozi dialog was already up so I got back in the nick of time. I was able to continue play normally from this point The reconnection system is a big boon, thanks for creating it! Without it this would have been an automatic loss for me. That would have been a pity as it was an interesting battle.
Had two reconnections today - first was fine, but the second wasn't: I disconnected (my router kicked me off), reconnected, moved moved a character. It became my opponent's (RuffyT's) turn, then suddenly i lost due to inactivity timeout... Back in the lobby i could see other games going on, but no chat, and anything I typed into chat just disappeared. I'd had a brief glimpse of Snoozi as i reconnected. Annother refresh and re-login fixed the chat problem. Happened a few minutes ago (it's 22:54 GMT now)
OK, that sounds like a bug. So, when you disconnected, you had played a move card already? Or did you play the move cards after reconnecting?
Twice I had disconnect issues. Neither time, it would let me back in the game. The first time I was in the middle of the game, rebooted, logged back in in about 2 and a half minutes and had no opportunity to get back into my game. The second time, I was counting down a match and it got to 00:00 and nothing happened at all. I closed the browser, relogged in and it said I had disconnected in a middle of a match. When I tried to reconnect it gave me a blank login CH screen with no prompts at all.
Just wanted to say that I've reconnected successfully a bunch of times, only in SP though (haven't had any PvP disconnections since the new features).
Ever since the feature was introduced, it seems I disconnect a lot. Often during the first multiplayer game of the day, it seems like my opponent just stops playing. Chat dies down as well. When I post a message myself, it doesn't appear either. At this point I tend to refresh the page and log back in. The first time nothing happened when I refreshed the page. I assume because the game had already ended due to inactivity. The subsequent times reconnection worked like a charm. Today I tried to reconnect again, but I got the message that "The game was no longer accepting players.". When I pressed a button (Presumably the 'OK' button) the message window disappeared, but afterwards nothing happened. I was stuck with just a loaded background and no game elements to interact with. Was right in the middle of Nimble Striking a War Monkey (had moved, hadn't chosen an attack target yet) when I got disconnected. Nimble Strike was half way across the screen at this point. Wait, I guess I had targeted a Monkey? I was clicking pretty fast. When I reconnected, everything more or less looked good, my char now had two choices of enemy to attack with the usual red glow indication. Click. Nothing. Had to resign. All I got was this: BATTLE LOG: Scenario=Monkey Clearing,Room=BLKF (jade303),RoomID=58247,Msg=Player jade303 must select targets *EDIT* Refreshed and reconnected again. Game moves forward. All is well.
