If you right-click on a visible card, you can see the item to which it belongs. However, most cards flash past too quickly, and are then only viewable through the game log, which shows a generic version of the card. Knowing the exact item to which a card belongs is precious information when you're trying to guess what the opponent's deck holds, and it's unfortunate that this inconsistency "telegraphs" certain strategies more than others (e.g., step-attacks are generally right-clickable, so I can tell whether my opponent is using Vibrant Pain or not, while simple attacks aren't, leaving me unable to distinguish a Bejewled Shortsword and an Axe of Evasion). Since all cards are equally accessible from the in-game log, the card displayed upon click should show the item to which it belongs.
But I don't want to have to stare at every card... (Thanks for pointing it out, but I still think the log would be more convenient.)
I support this idea, as do the others who have brought it up before. Here's my attempt which also contains links to some other times it's been suggested. I hope the devs will move this up on their to-do list.
As in previous discussions. some people would like to remove item information altogether. I think current system is a good compromise
