Defense of Woodhome is a level 6 Treasure Hunt. The Epic reward it gives is a level 7 item, requiring a power token. That means that if you play through all of the level 5 or lower dungeons, and then run Defense of Woodhome, you get an exciting item as a reward... that you can't equip. It's a temporary problem, to be sure--my fighter will hit level 7 after the next adventure--but it's a "feel bad" moment, because you're excited to equip your new, awesome dagger, and then you can't. I'm not sure there's a good solution to this, but it's something to watch out for at just before the levels where you get a new type of power token.
Uh, it's one of the best early items in the game, waiting one adventure - in a worst case scenario, isn't that bad is it? Also, as it's premium adventure it's not really part of the official progression chart, so you can play adventures to level up before that as well. One solution would be to rebrand DoW to lvl 7, but that would mean it unlocks later et c.
Oh, I know. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. But "feel bad" moments are something to be avoided in games, and I wanted to bring this to the attention of Blue Manchu. It might have been better, for example, if the adventure had been balanced as a level 7 adventure.
And there's been threads with players complaining in the opposite direction - how they're getting a new slot or a new token and don't already have any suitable item for that slot/token. There's really no way to please both crowds here...
