Will we ever fight greenfang in the future with our characters?I'm talking about any future plans cuz I know we only fight his yellow brother at the end
Well the Yellow dragon is already stronger than his brother. There are plans on lvl 18 modules but I do not see how they could make the fight challenging without something like 3 Greenfangs in one battle. (Melvin's party fighting Greenfang is all lvl 20). He could be put into a low level modules, though.
Well, you already killed him, so... :/ I mean, the intro battles use vastly underpowered versions of enemies as it is, in hopes of being as easy as possible on new players. It would have to be completely redone to slot into even a regular level 5 adventure, let alone something late game. But Xanthicus... Xanthum...Xanthificious... the yellow dragon is not the end of the single player campaign; that's just all they launched with. The devs have stated that there are plans to eventually push the campaign all the way to level 50 (they've planned out the power token distribution that far, at the very least). It wouldn't surprise me if he eventually showed up again at some future date.
it should be noted that at the start of the Yellow Dragon encounter, Gary narrates: "it's Greenfang's brother! and he's looking for vengeance!" - or something similar. so the story assumes that Greenfang is dead at this point. introducing him later in the campaign would contradict this.
I wonder how multiplayer will work with higher levels? will items be completely obsolete due to power tokens distribuition?
There is higher level power tokens, so it'll will continue to spread out. There's a list on the wiki somewhere for token distribution up to lvl 50.
Yea i know that. Its on the zoorland post the power distribuition. For instance at level 50 you have 8 great tokens and 4 ultimate, so that means the items with minor and major token wont be used at that level...
I think there should be a separate multiplayer section entirely for higher level multiplayer games, while leaving the current one as it is.
Yeah, there's been suggestions of tiered mp levels like that. Maybe different leagues - or battle modes that lock you to certain token builds. Sound doable, as long as it doesn't divide the mp community too much. Maybe have one be ranked and the other casual et c?
I'd like them to be separately ranked. With different token builds, as you say. You could choose which version to play, and you can try to be a top player in both (or more) rankings. It would certainly divide the players a bit, but I think there will be enough players by the time they implement this.
Well on closer look at level 36 you get 3 of each power token. So that could be the limit level for multiplayer without dividing the mp community and still making all items useful.
That IS a level that various people think would work, but there's something missing. Level 36 is when you have enough tokens to fill your items completely. Therefore, you are not obliged to bring zero-token items. This means there would be a disparity between the two hypothetical tiers of multiplayer, and the current starter packs would give out various items that "high-tier gamers" don't need anymore.
