Phew! This build had some birthing pains. Sorry! Our first roll out of it had a bad issue with dropped connections. We scrambled to fix that and think it's OK now. Let us know if you are still having problems though. There's not much exciting in this build other than that we hope to be able to support a lot more players without a login queue or lag problems. Though that should be pretty exciting if you've been having problems with those things. The biggest re-write was to the leaderboard so please let us know if you see any issues with it (yes we know it lost a little functionality but that will come back in time). Optimisation Moved qualified adventure unpacking from server to client Campaign flag set and unset multiples groups into one insert/delete statement. Shop inserts are grouped into one statement. Bunch of optimisations to avoid repeatedly reading the full player account. Item price gets player level, not full account. Character purchase gets free character count, not full account. Setting and getting player level access player level only, not full account. Removed old code for restarting adventure with pizza. Google and paypal callbacks don't read full player account, just hard currency amount. Paying to restart adventure reads soft currency, not full player account. Viewing a card stores the new card view without reading player account first. Add a command to dump profiling data in csv format Reduce the rate at which the client sends messages to keep its connection alive, so that doesn't fill up queues during periods of lag Add a worker thread pool to take some long-running tasks off the message handler threads Leaderboard Big leaderboard overhaul to fix performance. Slight loss of functionality (total games played) will hopefully come back over time. Multiplayer Sort games-in-progress so the most recent ranked games are at the top. Add the current round to the lobby display. Added link to forums in main menu Adventures Client side adventure data sets tags correctly (should fix some world locations re-appearing) Null adventure tags are ignored. Fixed Scenario typos Fixed prompt typos Fixed typos on module covers Reporting/Banning Correctly display the number of days when someone is blocked Admin Added warn, ban and unban user admin commands. Fixed block function in user report manager. Boards Fixed minor board errors Monsters Created Brother Arun, replaced Practiced Geomancer with Brother Arun in final battle of descent to the core. Replaced incorrect Goblin Berzerker figure facings Changed display name and text from "Duke Oggencot" to "King Oggencot" for monster and battle names. Pizza Add Connection: Close to requests when making callback to PayPal Console Add a console command to clear out the console log.
i cant login Card Hunter is currently down for maintenance. Please try again in a few minutes. Try Again
What exactly determines "player" level, cus i cant get the shops to charge me the prices proper for my level, keeps charging me my lowest parties level, and thats after switching to the proper higher level party.
Same here in http...before it was in https...now it's in http ! Quite weird ;-) ! Try to log in httpS
Cordalinge, I was having the very same problem as KiritoPT and your solution worked for me. Big thank you.
Very strange. So you're saying https works for you now (which is part of what that change was meant to fix), but http doesn't? Are you receiving the same warning in your browser with http that you used to see with https?
I'd like to report this as well, Very easily reproducable. Just beat the Omnlet mission again and the price goes up as if you are low level, (1 or 3 I'm not sure). Relogging does fix this.
Before the Sept 19th update, I accessed the game via the http address. After it, when I attempted to start the game, I got the message Kirito got. Initially, I just thought the maintenance was taking longer than expected; but when I read that others had begun to play again, I tried again; but still saw the server maintenance message. So I started going through the various suggestions; but nothing worked - then I read Cordalinge's post & tried it - and I'm back in and playing with my party. Of course, that was 20th and when I tried to log in on the 21st, the https site just shows Checking Server Status; but never launches and the http site still shows Down for maintenance. I'm on the infamous IE9 - which from what I've read is not the best for Card Hunter. Ah well, better to have played and lost connectivity than never to have played at all.
Exactly J-wiz...when i saw the message on http, i was sure you made something for https...and it worked ;-) ! Here's the message for http (IE 10 on win8...yes..i know my wife computer...)
