I got the Mouse Boots during pre-reset beta. And as I complained back then . . . they aren't nearly as cute as the Rat Boots. And Rat Boots aren't even in the game anymore! I protest this injustice! Blue Manchu must swap the graphics for these two items at once!
I'm sad my shop has a Hackmaster for sale. Even if I get to the correct level for it in time(which is unlikely) I probably won't have the cash for it. C'est la guerre.
In a hilarious coincidence, I no longer need to be jealous of your Aegis Of The Defender, because Randimar put one up for sale to me on Saturday. I just spend several hours leveling from 15-18 so I could buy it. I know I had a whole week to get there, but I hated to think I might forget about it or have something else go wrong. I did have one little time crisis, though - I was near the end of the first fight of the Card Stock II sneak preview when they announced a brief server shutdown. Quick! 30 minutes left to kill the Dwarves and Elves so I can be level 18 and go shopping! Aargh! It's good that I had that to look forward to, though, since defeating Xanthicius yielded no item better than uncommon, and the same was true for defeating the Card Stock II sneak preview. Anticlimactic finishes, to be sure.
