I personally would get a lot more out of the game if you guys sold 5$ gms and 10$ gms. 5$ The purpose of the GM's is they will replace one of the current gm's and read all of their phrases in their own voice. The 10$ GM's will also say a variety of things during an encounter such as "And so it begins.." in a deep husky voice or "Will your journey end here adventurer? Hehehe." In a high pitch voice or female voice.

Maybe even have a contest and whoever wins gets a gm pack named after themselves in the shop (and of course they get it free). This eliminates the need to higher good voice actors.

Restrictions on these gm alts to make life easier.
1)Each gm will replace a specific gm and is not choose able. For example if you buy X it can only replace ___. If you want to replace a gm who's voice you dislike you must buy a specefic gm who states in the description it replaces him/her.

*More will be added as I think of them or others do*

Good idea about selling GM's - but there's a bit of a story with the current ones, which would make that a bit weird switching them out. Unless you'd count it as optional Gary/Melvin skins - since the characters needs to be brothers, as that's mentioned in a lot of the story prompts.

Selling optional sound costumes for your party would be a lot easier to do. Like a pack of dwarves that all sound different et c. Nice customization!

Of course they're alternate skins of the gm's that's why it would be gm specific. Maybe The later stages/expansions could have replaceable gm's in whole (would be neat).

Put that way, it would come down to "purchasable alternate meta-stories." Which is interesting: spending money NOT to play a different game, BUT INSTEAD to be told a different story about exactly the same game.

Would people buy it? Would it be too "meta" or "abstract"?

I would do it, it would also be a way to support the developers and remove some of the grind feel.
