This will be one of the last new builds before release. There's a balance to change to Talented Healer that we discussed here. We've rolled out a whole new set of multiplayer maps. Bring on the gladiatorial battles! For the campaign, we have a whole bunch of new voice audio for Gary, Melvin and Karen. Melvin and Karen didn't exist before, audio wise, so let us know what you think! We also have a new hint system that comes up after you lose a battle. This should help out if you are getting stuck in the early game. A lot of the scenario (module) text has been rewritten too. As always, any comments or bug you spot are most welcome. Cards Talented Healer changed to add cantrip and self-heal. Updated festering guts card art Fixed grammar in Halt keyword. Replaced art for Ember burst fixed typo in Burst keyword text Fixed Unstable Bolt not triggering. Fixed Healing SPirit trigger text. Audio Lots of new Gary/Melvin/Karen/Mom audio Play gold sound when getting or spending pizza. Made scrollbar thumb sound less annoying. Preload voice audio. Items New guaranteed loot that should make some of our difficult early battles more manageable. Battle Rules Trigger checking order is now for each player, for each group, all cards in hand and all cards attached. After this, all terrain. Monsters replaced corpulent zombie figure Fixed nulls in Geomancer names Fixed Bluk's Name from Hulk to Cheiftain Lizard netters have less health but stand nearer. Multiplayer Rotated in the Gladius MP maps Elven Magic starter no longer refers to specific names. Remove Akon and demo MP characters from custom scenario picker. Updated Ranked match Module cover Story / Prompts Fixed rogue apostrophes. Fixed 80s anachronisms in the story. Fixed guisarme prompt being too long. Grammar fixes Changed a "!" to a "?" in Melvin speech. Shops removed glitch from treasure background image. Reduced price of a bunch of figures. Not showing not-owned not-purchasable figures in the costumery. Tutorial Tutorial prompts don't pause tweens (fixes card remaining on screen during tutorial prompt). Club intro accounts for already having club membership. Treasure hunt intro accounts for already having bought them. Battle UI Filtering which speech from Gary et al appears in the chat log. Club Reworded the club membership description slightly. Options Renamed the "pause enemy cards" option. News Anti-alias the news text. Basic Edition Hooked up the rest of the Basic Edition stuff. Internal Stuff Update version numbers to 3-part versions as required by some platforms Add a query string to the maintenance check to help prevent browser caching Improve logging when there are errors sending emails
I'm getting a failed password, even though it had it saved, and I did a reset, and the new PW won't work either.
There's a problem with the build where it requires a browser cache clear to login. We'll deploy a fix shortly.
Take in your control wizard and your free moves. All of the victory squares are protected by difficult terrain. My 3 games thus far have consisted of me being pushed back off of the terrain until my opponent wins. Winds of war VERY strong on these.
I hearby dub these new maps, "Death of the warrior class". also known as "The Age Of PushBack" I mean you do realize warriors had a hard enough time on the previous maps before you entrapped all treasure spots with difficult blocks???
;_; >.> this just made me really really upset as now i have to change my deck completely to even stand a chance on these maps
i hope they continue changing them every month or so, keeps you on your toes and gets you outa the rut of doing the same thing over and over again. plus i think its good to have to rethink builds from time to time
Bwhahaha, mostly uncommon items Constantine Level 2 Human Wizard Pearwood Staff Pearwood Staff Locket Of The Gale Locket Of The Gale Locket Of The Gale Locket Of The Gale Robe Of Lightness Off-balance Boots Novice Command Electroporter Novice 1 x Wild Run 2 x Frost Jolt 2 x Mighty Spark 1 x Spark Generator 2 x Run 1 x Vulnerable 1 x Cautious Sneak 4 x Ember Spray 2 x Hover 2 x Fright 2 x Acid Jet 1 x Cloth Armor 12 x Winds Of War 1 x Run, Team! 1 x Spark Inductor 1 x Dimensional Traveller
This is why I would never run Pearwood Staff. On a related note, please keep me posted as to how well you are doing with that build. I get the sneaking feeling that Winds Of War is currently undervalued and too easy to stack.
I'm curious; what were you using before that is so weak on these new maps? I'm intending to use exactly the same deck on these new maps as I used on the last two sets of maps. (I'm actually on a bit of a losing streak on the new maps, but I'm blaming my play rather than my deck.)
3 Elven Mobility Warriors. Strike fast strike hard and get out. Enough mobility to get around the previous amount of crowd control of the crypt rotation. With this new rotation however, i spend it all just getting into the arenas lol then i get thrown out and die . W/o freemove it takes at least 3 mobility cards per every 1 that the enemy has. AS such, i've increased the amount of freemove i now have on the warriors. STill i think i might take heretiick's advice he sent me in a pm, "its time to learn mages"
Some of those were pretty interesting. And you seem to have removed Blessed Anrime (MP AI Priest 5) too, even though I assume it's still in the third battle of Card Stock and if you fight Amy in MP. I was expecting you to remove the even numbered MP AI teams, since I don't think they're used anywhere. Yay, gender equality! But it hasn't been updated with news about release date and new boards. Is it possible to buy it yet? I checked costume shop, starter shop, pizza shop, and club shop, and didn't find it.
