Just wanted to share with you guys a video I made to introduce new players to the game and demonstrate the basic concepts while also giving them a beginner's guide on how the game is played. It's only the second video I've made for youtube (the first being an Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic video), so I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Joe. Quick question for anyone: does the youtube video embed properly on the original post? I'm just getting a blank white space, and i'm not sure if that's just my machine or something else I need to correct in the post.
Just as an update for anyone else who might not be seeing the video - I figured out why my browser wasn't showing it. Chrome blocked what it deemed was an "unsafe script", but I allowed it and now it's working fine.
Yeah, I see the "insecure content" warnings for embedded YouTube links. I think that's because we switched the forums over to primarily use https instead of http, and the YouTube embeds are using http links. Chrome really doesn't like to mix-and-match content on a page if you load via a secure URL.
In Chrome, there's a shield on the right side of the address bar when this happens. If you click the shield, it will give you an option to show the "unsafe" content.
