As you can see here, I passed several turns in a row. In the bolded section, somehow after playing a move which triggered the teleport self effect, Martin received an extra turn in which he passed, causing the first turn of the new round to be his, not mine.

It wasn't the teleport, it was the Flanking Move. This is called "pass stealing" and is not a bug. Previous discussions:
