Resistant Hide, among other effects, is supposed to prevent all damage from acid. However, if you're standing in an acid square at the start of the turn, you discard the Hide and take the acid damage anyway. The card text would seem to indicate that the damage happens first...in this case, shouldn't it be prevented by the hide, even if the hide would be discarded afterward? If that's not the intended behavior, maybe reorder the wording of acid terrain?
If you are to be hit by a "cone of acid" spell, then you will not get any damage with Resistant hide but standing on acid terrain still yields the discard+damage
WAI Acid terrain is meant as counter-armor, and this is the way it should be, sounds reasonable to me.
Yeah, the text for the Acid Terrain is the wrong way around. The discard comes first, then the damage.
