I noticed this in my last campaign mission (battle with the 7 trog wizards at the end of "Beneath the Frozen Earth"): Attacks with the "Hard to Block" trait are not working consistently. To the point, an enemy managed to roll a 6 against a shock attack, which should be impossible; this occured multiple times throughout the battle. I've noticed previously that the "natural" roll will appear first, and then count backwards by the value of "Hard to Block" on the attack before showing the final outcome. This did not appear to occur at any point during the battle.
Although i just started playing the game a few days ago i also noticed that. Im still afraid to post bugs since it can be some effect im unaware. I can remember happening on that map aswell since it was the one i played yesterday. Maybe the bug is just on that map, with Trogs.
Do you mean that the trogs rolled 6 against your Hard to Block attack ? If so, do you remember what was the card that reacted for the Trogs ? Just to be sure: Hard to Block only modifies dice rolls against blocks (green background cards).
I stand corrected... I had combined the concepts of armor and blocking in my mind without even realizing it. The trogs were rolling armor defense against my HtB attacks when they were getting 6's, not blocks. While armor blocks damage, it's not a "block." My bad
No worries. Confusion between blocks and armors is a mandatory rite of passage decreed by the God of Cardhuntria.
