[Update:] Identifiers are present in all situations except for when targeting for an attack, in which case, name tags and highlighting do not appear when hovering the mouse. Hi all, I ran into this for the first time last night: I was fighting two groups of goblins that were identical in appearance except for their coloring. One had an exposed card that I wanted to get rid of using a discard but since both groups had already attacked, they were the same identical color of gray. There wasn't any way to tell which tokens belonged to which group and which had the card that I wanted to discard. I picked at random and did happen to get lucky, but as far as I could tell there wasn't a better way. I'd recommend adding a way to identify enemies by displaying the enemy name when hovering the mouse. Highlighting the group at the top of the screen that the creature belongs to when hovering over a token, or highlighting all of the tokens that belong to a group when hovering over the group name would be an intuitive way to distinguish tokens as well.
If you hover over the picture of the enemy group to the left of their hand, it puts a little info tag over all the enemies in that group. Also if you hover over the enemy itself it puts a white border around the enemy group box containing their hand. It is hard to see but it is there.
Well color me embarrassed... I must have lost focus of the window when I was trying that out last night. Thanks.
I've had trouble with this as well. The highlighting isn't the brightest and I often have to mouse over a few times to see which group each enemy belongs to or each group is comprised of.
I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I was so sure that I couldn't identify the monster that I was attacking. I'm playing the right now, and I'm seeing that it's while targeting for an attack that you do not see any name tag or highlight while hovering the mouse. At the moment I'm trying to disintegrate some armor on a gray baddie, and I'm not getting any indication as to whether or not he's the one with the armor. So, to update my initial suggestion, the identifiers need to be present while targeting for an attack. This is especially important for attacks that require you to move first, since you can't back out once it's been initiated.
