I have noticed besides sound effects there is no music in the game. I was wondering if it was ever considered to have music playing in the background. Like a forest map having a forest theme. Or a dungeon having a dungeon theme. I ask this because some of the most memorable games I have played had an amazing soundtrack.
I'd like to get more music in the game. It's mostly an issue of money at this stage, since we don't have an in-house composer.
erm, what are you using to generate in-game sounds right now ? edit: I'd recommend Ableton Live if you don't have an in-house sw composer.
Kick starter perhaps? haha. Any talented composer wanna volunteer? I think if you could figure out a way to add more music it would greatly add to the over all experience.
Guys here is just a suggestion. Vindsvept is an amazing composer, he is independent and he already have some nice stuff. I am not trying to advertise, I just want to help you guys. Thanks for the amazing game. https://www.youtube.com/user/Vindsvept. Check him out. I love his stuff. I stumbled upon him while watching minecraft medieval builds. Seems like a nice guy to me, and he might appreciate it. Kind Regards Longtomjr ps: thank for an epic game!
