Hey guys, I've just dropped my first 2 hours into Card Hunter and loving it. It has surpassed my fundom expectations : )

That being said, I've a few suggestions to contribute:

1a) I was confused by the LOS-hover function when I first started. It's not necessarily badly designed, however I'm used to such tactics games showing me the movement and attack range when I hover-over. It had me confused until Gary explained it, and I feel like it might be better to have that explained earlier as it shows different information to that which I expect as a result of my previous gaming experiences.
1b) I would really like to have this information when I've selected a movement card... I found it a little bit frustrating that I'm expected to remember the entire current game state when I've selected a card to activate. Things that I've come across that would be really helpful include; seeing where I could slide someone with telekinesis before I've selected the character to slide, and LOS/movement of other characters when I'm working out where to move.

    2) I got REALLY confused (I thought it was a disappearing item bug,) when after defeating "Ig-Bob" (the lizard priest dude,) that on dragging the boots off my character, the boot-filter was automatically applied to the item list. I couldn't work out where the shield had gone, or what was going on at all. I know that selecting an item slot turns on the filter, but my feeling is that there isn't nearly enough visual feedback to indicate the change in filters.

    3) It seems that some of the screens that take a long time to load (first time entering the pizza-buying screen, for example) have no loading indicators, while those that don't do. I find it a pity that I never have time to read the tips shown when I start a battle. Give me a chance to click "Start Battle" or some way of reading this useful tidbits please : )

    4) Okay. Seriously. This is a problem. I would like to pay, however, I am a student. So I'm considering a 3-month subscription. There's one MASSIVE problem. A one-month subscription costs $10. A 3-month subscription costs $30 - $50! Sure, from the amount of pizza required, it doesn't look like that, but when you match it to the pizza-purchase amounts, it doesn't make any sense. The smallest single pizza purchase that enables me to purchase a 3-month subscription is the 1,800 slices for $50. The cheapest way to get it, is a 330 + 690 purchase, and that didn't even occur to my because my first thought is 2 x 690. This system really needs some work. I don't want to have to constantly switch between the subscriptions and the pizza purchasing to work out what I need. When I see the "Buy" button next to the membership, the chances are, I want to buy the membership. In my case, this has resulted in a non-purchase until the purchasing options make more sense to me.
4.1) Suggestion: When I click "Buy" on a membership, don't make me do all the work to get through the payment system. Obviously you don't want my money enough! Auto-select the options I need, allow me to purchase in amounts that make instant-sense, and/or when shown the pizza-purchasing screen, show me what each amount of pizza equals in game terms. The numbers are too high and fiddly for me to understand it at all, and do the mental arithmetic on the spot.

That being said, cheers for the experiences thus far : ) I'm pretty sure you'll be sucking more of my time and be getting to my money very soon...

One of the devs admitted in an earlier thread that the current pizza options weren't really well thought through versus the club subscriptions.

So there'll probably be adjustments before the beta ends.
