Just incase anyone was curious. Using splashtop Remote Desktop works flawlessly. http://i.imgur.com/XNoGYDi.jpg
Oh awesome! I was trying to play last night via RDP and it was horribly chuggy. I think there might be some issue with my home network or my RDP settings somewhere though, since I have that issue on other devices too.
I had used splashtop to play Torchlight 2 & it ran great. My son is totally addicted to the ipad & so I had to blow his mind with Card Hunter. He's 9 & loves it BTW, GREAT WORK!
Yeah, I've also been using splashtop to play Card Hunter on my iPad, and it works great. It's tons of fun playing CH with a touchscreen - it feels incredibly natural (just tapping on cards and target squares). As far as I can tell there's no easy way to read cards or check a card's LOS before playing them though, so you have to be pretty familiar with how every card works. I heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to play CH on their iPad.
With a bit of fiddling I was able to: * Zoom a card/item/etc - just long hold on it * See LOS for a character or card - just tap them, unless they're currently selectable, in which case sort of wiggle your finger around on top of them to "drag", and be sure to wiggle off before you let go.
Clever! I might check it out once I get to play. I've Splashtop and this seems to be a really good fit for it.
I realize this is old, but how does Splashtop vary from other remote desktop stuff? I use Remoter, for instance, and I feel like it's not really well suited for this. Is Splashtop more customizable than most?
