So I grabbed a screen shot to help if need be. But I feel that it might be a bug when Misguided Heal is activated with two hit points and results in instant death. To my understanding Misguided Heal would heal for 4 points, then damage 2 which would have, or in my case should have, left the character with 4 hp, instead it automatically killed the character because the damage was done first. Is this a bug or known issue?
That's the way it's intended to work. If it healed 4 then did two damage, it would be effectively the same as Heal 2. As it is, you can use it to kill weakened enemies.
So wait I'm confused. It's not meant to be a heal 2 then do 2 damage? If that's the case maybe reword it slightly, or mention damage is done first. That way players know.
That'd be a great mention in game during the tutorial as well!, the "Card effects always come after the damage they do is dealt."
