My Human Warrior had two laser blocks. I blocked an AOE spell and got a cooling laser on my warrior. I didn't use it and attacked his mage with a fiery stab. My opponent then cast a counterspell to try to knock the cooling laser out of my hand. First, my 2nd laser block didn't trigger at all. Also, I kept the cooling laser that had been generated by the first block. Attached is the battle log scraped from the F1 screen post battle.
Wish you could have gotten a screenshot during this. Were there any cards attached to these chars? Reading the logs it looks like the Laser Block succeeded and drew a card, and then Shimmering Aura triggered to block the damage, which shouldn't happen if it was blocked. In fact, that happened twice: Laser Block succeeds, draws a card, and is discarded, then Shimmering Aura triggers and Ember Burst is attached.
I had two laser blocks on Elof. You are missing the key line where nothing happened: line 64. Actually, I think I figured it out! I have two characters both named 'Elof'. I betcha he targeted the wrong one with his counterspell. Probably was just reading the combat logs like I do... #AnimationSpeedTenAllDay!!!
