It would be nice if there was some indication (perhaps just a red ! next to that player's star count) when one or more players have a non-default number of VP in a campaign map (maybe even separate colours for higher and lower?). Yes, you can count, but: 1) Card Hunter is a strategy/tactics game, and so involves making decisions. Counting VP is not a decision. 2) Who actually remembers what scores 1 and what scores 2? Memorizing enemy VP numbers is also not a decision. (This message brought to you by Mauve Manticore 14-1.)
It would help to see the [max VP gained when killing all enemies] vs [VP required] in numbers. It gets pretty fuzzy when there's just a long string of stars in the top left without spacing/number count. Perhaps the VP gained for killing a character should just be visible in the UI. Located before the name, but after the minion-count if it's a minion group. 3/3 1★ Trog Scuttler 2★ Dwarf warrior 5★ Blizkenripper 6★ Lord Stafford 5/10 0★ Roach
Maybe putting little stars under the portrait or on the figure bases would work. At the very least, it should be easy to add that info to the pop-up when you hover over the figure.
Those help, but only if you realize you need to be counting stars in the first place (the map I'm referring to had 8 non-door models and 10 stars, so I should have known I didn't need to kill them all, but.... well, I just saw "a bunch of stars") - I think they would be useful in combination with a feature that notifies you if VP count is weird.
