That's what I assumed. Maybe it would be better not to discuss items before they are announced? Or am I the only one remaining pure? Ha.

 

Yes, please no discussing the items (without spoiler tags) until the official announcement! I normally hold out for surprises, but this time I checked; nevertheless, there are those who haven't, thus let's be courteous. $:^ ]

Congratulations to Founder and Gulo Gulo, I look forward to hunting down your items! What's that? We get them guaranteed from Mauve Manticore now? Well, I suppose the ol' card hunting skills could do with a rest every now and then.

Also a big thanks to Flax as always for holding the contest, this AA's theme was in my opinion the best one so far and I hope the ones to follow as just as good. Keep up the great work!

 

I think it's a nice idea to give out monthly new item(s) as MM rewards. Else people like me wouldn't even bother to try that new MM.

I was merely trying to make a staff that would have some effectiveness against both maneuvering elves and buffed bursting wizards. While I don't think this would allow, say, three human wizards, the ability to dominate in the multiplayer arena, I do think it gives them a little bit more of a fighting chance. I hope people find it useful.

 

Gratz to the winners and thanks for making AA items MM rewards, Flaxative! There's elegant symmetry in that and I hope it becomes SOP.

Woop woop! And congrats to @gulo gulo . Excellent defensive staff - great against melee fighters and ranged attacks.

I'll have to admit that I lucked out there - I didn't realise that there were such strict requirements for Divine Armor. I just looked at Holy Breastplate (3x Holy Armor) and figured it was a legitimate card to include. Whoops!

 

This month's contest has me hankering for some new sort of zero-damage league. If it could be done with the players own builds somehow, that would be awesome. I'd actually play a league then, ha.

That being said, I assume there's no way to police if someone actually uses damage in a zero-damage league. But it's fun to think about.

Well I think gulo's was better, so we can go with that. It adds a lot more options to the game than my submission.
