Aloyzo's Arsenal Discussion Thread

And thanks to @Flaxative , @Vakaz , @Kalin , @Stexe , @timeracers , and some I'm surely leaving out, many of us now have gained a much better understanding of card and item design.
What we need now is a vast player conspiracy to foil Flax's perceived "Style Over Substance" fetish. Our submissions may have theme and style, but we must ONLY submit items which would receive a @peonprop rating of Playable or better. It will take a total team effort to beat this thing. One fancy-scmancy unplayable item could blow the whole deal.

Yeah, I've been trying my best to make items which are tightly themed and also borderline playable rather than taking the easy route of making a tightly themed super weak item. If my item ever won I wouldn't want to have all of Cardhuntria bemoaning its uselessness as has been the case for nearly every winner.

Fair enough, but I'd hoped you were angry enough to join a conspiracy. A Big Tent one, with riots on alternate Thursdays for those who care to attend.

 

I did join a conspiracy; I sold a bunch of different people bricks which were then coincidentally hurled through @Flaxative 's windows.

 

That was a conspiracy? I just told people where there was a brick throwing contest ...

There is a separate conspiracy for non-serious entries.

we have gulo edition of AA, how about mine for AA #8:

Items with badly itemized cards (ie. Pathfinding, Forward Thinking, Anvil Strike).

Going to play safe and assume Ooze Shove and Jarring Block are a no-go, and probably no to Laser Block. Hmm....this'll be fun.

Jarring Block is definitely a no. Laser Block doesn't deal damage. If Ooze Shove gets frenzy boosts it's out (I don't remember off the top of my head-you can check for yourself).
