[RESOLVED] Instant Burn does not trigger Fiery Stab

INSTANT BURN does not trigger FIERY STAB.

My guess : Instant Burn has a list of the cards it triggers, and Fiery Stab is not on the list. Poor Fiery Stab :_(
Edit : Actually, it could just be that Instant Burn only checks for Burning cards played by its caster, not all her/his party. Does that mean 'you' only refers to the casting character, and not the player ? In that case, my bad.

 

Instant Burn only triggers Burning cards by its caster as you said, so not a bug.

 

Indeed, in the card text, "you" refers to the caster and not the player.

After a little test, I can say that Instant Burn does work for Fiery Stab, and so does Firestarter.

No bug here, then.

Holy moses... so fiery stab damage is a burning attachement, why cant it be non-melee damage?
It being not prevented by shimmering but by polearm slash still is a thing, right?

 

No, both parts are considered melee damage.
