Most Famed/Best Named (Why did Raging Strike win?) Each team was assessed in three categories: RP: How well their name suited the RP basis of the tournament Game-related: How well their name referenced the game Creativity: How creative their name was. Scores for each category were (0: Did not fulfill well, 1: Partially fulfilled/filled reasonably well, 2: Filled very well). Raging Strike scored 2 in each of the three categories, easily outstripping the other teams. A hearty congratulations on the clever naming- and being able to meet the other win requirement of making all your matches! I think I got more than I should have.. If you received more from the gods of Cardhuntria than what is listed above, you ought contact Flaxative directly to discuss the matter with him. If you believe the listing above to have given you more than you've earned, there's no need to report that: Consider it an especially generous patron among the noble spectators of the tournament. I think I got less than I should have.. Private message me directly on the forums, and we'll do our best to sort it out. In an effort to keep things in the thread positive, publicly bringing the matter up (prior to contacting me privately) will disqualify you from any changes to your rewards. Champions of Cardhuntria For members of the winning team: To receive your unique forum title, respond to this thread indicating you want your forum title to be changed. Not posting in this thread will indicate that you have chosen to turn down the title.
It might take me a while to distribute all these prizes, so sit tight everyone I'll post here once all prize has been delivered and then you can pester me if you think I didn't give you yours.
Thanks @DunDunDun for organizing the event! Special thanks to @CT5 for recording/streaming & commenting many tournament matches. Thanks to other teams, especially those that showed up on time, it was great battling against you. @DupleX & @Bioautomaton, thanks for taking me with you, it was a thrilling ride! And yeah, I'd like to have the special forum title.
@DunDunDun - what happened to 3beaner? I'm pretty sure he showed up for a couple of matches. @Flaxative, @DunDunDun - remember that the Sorcererers evenly split their prizes amongst the SRCs that participated in the tournament. If possible, I'd like to convert some of my chests into pizza (3 epic + 7 gold -> 110 pizza) for distribution. That would bring the total pizza earned by SRCs to 500, and 500/5 = 100 pizza to @Pawndawan, @3beaner, @Inkfingers, @Duke Tresnor, and @CT5. @Inkfingers and @Duke Tresnor - This was super fun! Can't wait to play more with you guys
None that were recorded or affirmed in the multiple confirmation checks I sent refs and party leaders :/ Even if he showed a few times and didn't play, he wouldn't qualify for rewards between his team resigning the last match and his missing some matches. If there's an error there, though, he's free to contact me through PMs. =O
Timebeaner played against Raging Strike, 99 shouts of wow & The Karen/Amy Controversy and @3beaner missed all those matches. He was one of the two players that showed up for timebeaner vs. Hamster among us! match, but that didn't happen because 4/6 participants were offline.
Likewise, @CT5! This tournament was some of the most fun - and high-stakes - Cardhunting I've done in a while, and I'm definitely looking forward to similar shinanagins with you fellows in the future. A big thanks to @DunDunDun for putting this on!
Distributed the chests & pizza as far as I can tell. Will add the titles in a sec. Sorry for being slow =) EDIT: titled.
I'm liking how those titles look On another note, I've heard thank yous for [me], the refs, and the players, but we've forgotten the most critical role of all: Thanks, @Flaxative , for approving and supporting the tournament and handling of the most important part of it: Distributing the prizes! Spoiler Actual footage of a Champion living it up: But seriously, thanks to everyone involved for sticking through to the end
Thank YOU for running this! I wish I'd had more time to donate to the endeavor, but I'm glad it happened & that Raging Strike did as well as it did. (Was I an impartial observer? Hell no! )
