We have all had RNG play against and for us, but most of what we remember are the bad things, let us remember the good things that RNG has done for us before or later (as in after this thread was made)! Most of us keep a record of how many parries you have failed in a row, mine is 7 though that doesnt matter, unfortunately we mostly dont remember the good. Here are some of my good RNG encounters: Doing 20 damage with weak chop. Making an opponent Duck Demonic Miasma. Drawing a Wall of Stone on the first and second rounds of Clash of Geomancy Spoiler: Pic Spawning grubs with (mostly) perfect facing Spoiler: Pic Blocking with Unreliable Block twice in one game. Standing on VP in SP and Gary passing 4 rounds in a row to let me win. ↓↓↓Post your Good RNG experiences here↓↓↓
Once during a 1 hp quest, the enemy blocked(yes with block) a triple heals.(Because I needed to face them to use my lifesaving block)
I remember once I had AoA... something, I think AoA 11 or 13 damage attack, used against elf warrior. I went full davai. Opponent had 2 parries. Both didn't trigger.
A few examples that come to mind: - Inflicting Trip on two opponents with Radiation Spray at the start of one turn. - Giving Mind Leak to Blitzenrippenyournimbusoff via radiation. - Any time I draw a Purge or Purging Strike just as the opponent throws up Force Field or Impenetrable Nimbus. - (Yesterday, in fact) getting Luke's Iron Hand and Bronson's Halberd from the three chests for fifth-place idling in a league.
Hitting an elf warrior with 4 Mass Frenzy'd Tricky Stabs in a row on round one of a match, each stab bypassing both a Parry and a Defender's Block.
Hitting two targets with Obliterating Chop / All Out Attack for 20 damage each through Defender's Block and Surging Shield Block.
Um, well, either you did that on me, or another player used Obliterating Chop / All Out Attack through my x2 Defender's Block and Surging Shield Block.
I just opened my stockpiled chests, got only 1 legendary (my third Staff Of Embers) from 127 magnificent chests but then RNG felt bad for me and decided to give me 1st chest: Mandaeu's Aegis (my first) 2nd chest: Reynoldo's Boots (my first), Raging Battler 3rd chest: Kristoph's Skull (my first) 4th chest: Cat'Leth 5th chest: Saramin's Shield (my first) 6th chest: St. Qaith's Armor 7th chest: Demigod's Hammer (my first) 8th chest: two bad epics 9th chest: Arcade's Amber Amulet 14th chest: The Pulper yup, RNG definitely payed back the legendaries it was holding back from me
I was playing against Cheat-O-Tron Card-O-Tron and managed to take out the wizard but at the cost of my 2 warriors. I was left with an elf buff priest at 1 hp. I had amassed 4 stars and had gotten my priest to the only victory square on the map, but with the warrior and priest surrounding him on opposite sides things were looking bleak. I was pretty much resigned to a crushing defeat but I figured I'd see what would happen anyways. The following turn, I drew a one-outer Elvish Trickery (it discarded all attacks at the time) which got me the last victory point I needed for the win. Never give up, never surrender!
I once blundered into the map with 3 armored skeletons with a triple warrior party based entirely on penetrating attacks (IE not a single bludgeoning attack in their decks). The skellingtons failed to draw any of their 2 only bones cards in around 5-6 turns, and considering they were drawing 3 cards each from three individual 26 card decks, this just struck me as utterly ridiculous.
As long as we're using tag lines, "Shut up and die like like an aviator!" often seems appropriate for CoC.
Hitting a blind raged opponent with freeze, cold snap (and lunging bash) throught his surging shield block before the freeze on the other warrior weared off and he could reach my 2 hp mage, allowing me to land a second lunging bash and taking the last victory point from a victory square. Why the first two Attacks needed to not be blocked? because he Drew immovable. AKA I got both the perfect draw (might have saved something from the turn before)and the perfect rolls. Misclicking and using an attack instead of war cry to end the match, his parry fails.
Perfect draws turn 1 with combo chopper build. Altruism and inspiration madness. Wings of faith and surestrike blessing buffed elf warrior. Flying quickrun with double quickness aura. Double All out attack Obliterating chop. - 40 damage to 2 targets.
Bought a 7 day club membership for Reaper's Scythe, got Boxton's Razorstaff (for my weird bashing build) and Captain Cedric's Helm! And still 5 days left.

I saw pretty much the same thing in the LF run today. It almost made me feel okay about the four back-to-back double parry fails I had yesterday. (Eight fails in four sets of two.) Almost.
